The Cat Lovers Festival was a massive success in Melbourne last year, and this year it’s coming to Sydney with a supurr program and incredible collection of kitties.

Over 200 cats of every colour, size, shape, coat and personality will be available for you to admire, coo at, and, in some cases, pat and cuddle.

Across two whole days this weekend you’ll be able to visit various breeds, chat with experts and take selfies with gorgeous felines at stands including: Pat-A-Cat, the Whiskas Adoption Zone, the Trouble & Trix Breed Info Stage; the Trouble & Trix Breed Showcase.

Head to the Whiskas Stage for some incredible shows. Celebrity cat aficionado TV host, Jackson Galaxy will appear live via satellite on a big screen. Feline expert, Dr Katrina Warren will be on stage to help demystify these enigmatic creatures.

Plus:  Hello Kitty Live; CATMANTOO & Didga; the Whiskas Purr to Win competition; and a Kitty Cosplay fashion parade/contest on the pink catwalk.

Thinking about getting a cat? Head over to the Purrfect Match zone and talk to the experts about what breed would suit your house and lifestyle.

Lots to buy, too. Hundreds of stands selling kitty-spoiling goodies as well as everything you need for a happy, healthy furr bub. Take advantage of exclusive festival offers.

There’s plenty here for non-furry bubs, too. Hello Kitty will be pattering about with friends, meeting and greeting. Free feline face painting, colouring-in, great merchandise and a fantastic Neon Glitter Selfie Wall for those Instagrammable snaps.

Grown ups can relax at the Paws & Prosecco Bar then grab some delicious food from the many food trucks.

There’s a fantastic Major Door Prize for one lucky winner, too.

No need to feel guilty about ignoring our other favourite four-legged friends, the Dog Lovers Festival will be right next door and you can buy a discounted ticket to both events.

Cat lovers, take a paws from scrolling and look at some real cats this weekend.
