THE BURLESQUE HOUR
The Burlesque Hour has been described as a sizzling cocktail of human joy, an electrifying mix of cabaret, circus, gothic, sideshow and freak show. Its opening night in Sydney certainly lived up to these expectations. Over two hours of variety, an eclectic set of performers take you into intense and bizarre worlds, trimmed with hula hoops, soft toys, meat pies and spiked bikinis. Be prepared to be dazzled, confronted and sprayed on – either by water or tomato soup. But don’t worry; you’ll be given umbrellas and ponchos to stay dry.
