Tax help for low income earners

Low income earners having problems with their tax returns can now get free advice.
Sydney MP Tanya Plibersek is offering a free tax help service in her Surry Hills electorate office, to assist people in filling out their tax return.
In 2007, 35 people, over seven days, asked for assistance filling out their tax returns at the MPs office.
The Tax Help service is by appointment only and subject to eligibility criteria on Wednesdays.
