Tango fire coming to Sydney
From the home of tango, following sell-out seasons in New York, London and Barcelona, the Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires returns with their new show Tango Inferno – The Fire Within.
Ten dancers, including three world champions, will perform to tango’s greatest music including the legendary Piazzolla and songs of its most-cherished singer, Carlos Gardel. They will be accompanied by Quatrotango, four virtuosi of piano, bandoneon, violin and cello.
Half an hour before each performance audiences will be invited to join the cast on stage for a traditional milonga, a public dance that replicates the atmosphere of the late night dance halls of Buenos Aires.
