SYDNEY FESTIVAL: SUPER NIGHT SHOT

“Each of us is just one in a million, easy to replace and easy to forget in a city that doesn’t really need us. But don’t worry. We’re going to change all that. We’ve got a plan.” So say Gob Squad, an internationally acclaimed group of UK and German artists who have worked collectively since 1994.  Their plan is to wage a daily war on anonymity. Each night, an hour before show time, they take to the streets to film a set of adventures that celebrate unplanned meetings with strangers.  This video footage becomes the basis of the show, making each evening unique.
