Sydney blessed with new place name
Three Saints Square is now an official Sydney address after being gazetted by the Geographical Names Board.
It’s the precinct around the intersection of Victoria, Oxford and South Dowling Streets on the boundaries of Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and Paddington.
The name comes from the nearby St Vincent’s Hospital, St Sophia’s Greek Church and a Notre Dame University camous.
Local businesses have been using the name for some time to clear confusion as people have difficulty finding addresses.
