When the last Sunday of this month rolls around, Sydney’s card-carrying, old-school soul and R’n’B fans will be popping their champagnes in celebration as double Grammy Award winner band Soul II Soul get set to perform some of their greatest hits at the iconic Ivy. Original members Jazzie B (keyboard and turntables), Caron Wheeler (vocals) and MC Chicaboo (vocals) have reassembled, promising to cruise through their amazing repertoire of classics from that era. After being certified platinum status (UK) and gold status (US), the British group has become an inspiration to the genre. Legendary Jazzie B is also highly regarded in the industry for his ongoing work and talent as a producer in London. Coming to us from the U.K the trio will revisit some of their bests with their legendary debut track and wildly famous Back To Life (However Do You Want Me). (CS)
