Search for Australia’s bravest souls
If sleeping in a hammock, climbing aloft, setting sails, ship cleaning, sail and rope work aboard the historic replica of James Cook’s Endeavor doesn’t have you shaking in your boots, then now is your chance to sign up for the voyage of a lifetime.
The Australian National Maritime Museum is offering a few rare places to join 16 professional crew members as they sail from Sydney to Brisbane on the 44-metre ship this August.
Reliving the experiences of Cook and his sailors back in the 18th century, those selected will be taught traditional sailing techniques on their way to the RiverFestival in Brisbane.
Anyone interested in applying for a berth on the voyage should contact 1800 720 577.
