Sculpture prize calls for entries
Professional and emerging sculptors are invited to apply for the Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize.
Now in its 11th year, it is the only national prize for free standing sculptures with dimensions less than 80 centimetres.
The prize, to be judged by leading art identities, includes: acquisitive award of $10,000; Special Commendation, non-acquisitive award of $2000; and the Viewer’s Choice, non-acquisitive award of $1000.
The Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize Exhibition will be open to the public from October 22 to November 6.
Entry forms are available on the website http://sculptureprize.woollahra.nsw.gov.au/. Sculptures must be submitted by 5pm on Friday August 5. Finalists will be selected mid-August with winners announced on Friday October 21.
