Sartor appoints former co-worker as harbour CEO

The City of Sydney’s former general manager, Robert Domm, will become the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority’s new chief executive officer come July 21.
He was appointed the position by NSW Planning Minister Frank Sartor, who was his former boss while Sydney Lord Mayor in the early 2000s.
In his new position, Mr Domm will manage many of Sydney’s key harbourfront areas, including The Rocks and Darling Harbour.
However, he will maintain his current position as CEO of the Redfern-Waterloo Authority, which he has held since 2004, according to Minister Frank Sartor. He will continue to manage several major projects currently underway in the Redfern-Waterloo precinct, including the $170 million redevelopment of the Australian Technology Park and the North Eveleigh railway site.
