Riot House Comedy

First launching in 2011 the Riot House concept soon became an institution and proving ground for promising young comedic talent in Sydney. During its time running out of The Gaelic Hotel Riot House shows were headlined by some of todays prominent names in the genre such as Matt Okine, Tom Ballard and Michael Hing.

Sadly though following the closure of the venue Riot House endured a period of homelessness but is now excited to be returning to a “glorious” new home at The Dove & Olive. Riot House MC Jarred Keane said “the second level of the pub is warm and cosy, making you feel perfectly at home.”

To celebrate their return to scene the team behind Riot House are excited to welcome Sydney’s own Jen Carnovale who has performed in venues across the country and globe from Canberra to Latvian Warehouses to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Joining Jen will be RAW Comedy National Finalist Andrew Wolfe who has steadily increased in popularity around the Sydney scene.

As Mr Keane said “the night is an immersive, intimate experience complimented with amazing food and good friends. It’s a perfect way to relax and wind down your weekend”
