Rally for Fitzroy Gardens

A coalition of business and resident groups in Kings Cross will hold a rally to protest Council’s plans to demolish and redesign Fitzroy Gardens, which surround the El Alamein Fountain. The group, Friends of Fitzroy Gardens, invite people to gather at 11am on Saturday 6 November at the Gardens. The group met on Monday night when a growing petition of 829 signatures opposing the project was tabled. Councillors will reconsider the plans on 8 November.
