Police appeal for assistance on four alleged sexual assaults on Sydney public transport

NSW Police have released CCTV images of four men in the search for information on alleged sexual assaults that happened on Sydney’s transport network. The men are believed to be involved in cases of sexual offences at several popular Sydney transport stops between July and December last year.

Police are calling for members of the public to come forward with any information on the four men.

One of the alleged offenders was reported to have exposed himself and performed a sexual act in front of two women while at a Mt Druitt bus interchange on July 9 at about 1pm. Police say the man has been described as in his 40s and of Caucasian appearance, and was wearing a matching dark blue tracksuit with a ‘Steggles’ logo on the top.

The next incident police are searching for additional information on occurred at Town Hall train station on November 5 at about 10.30am where a man reportedly touched a woman’s thigh multiple times. He is described as being in his 30s with having short dark hair, and was wearing a a navy jacket, light blue shirt, dark sandals and glasses.

On Thursday November 17, a man described by police as Caucasian in appearance is reported to have touched the knee of a young girl in school uniform after boarding a bus at Strathfield. He is said to be in his 40s with brown curly hair, and was wearing a light green long-sleeved shirt and cream cargo shorts.

On December 29 at around 11.30am a man allegedly approached a women travelling on a train between Redfern and Penrith and touched her breast. The man is described as being Asian in appearance with a thin build, and around 20-25 years old. He was reportedly wearing a a dark green t-shirt, long blue pants and black ‘Nike’ shoes.

NSW Police asks anyone with information on any of the four men, or the alleged assaults, to come forward.
