NOT QUITE CABARET

A dinner theatre show in a boozer in Balmain? Now this is pub entertainment with a twist.

“We had feedback from people who said they loved a night out to see a show, but they also wanted a relaxed environment where you had time to have a meal, some drinks and a chat,” says founder and cast-member Deborah Bradshaw. Not Quite Cabaret has been running for over three years at different venues across Sydney, with no plans to stop now.

So what exactly IS Not Quite Cabaret? Audiences can expect a relaxed, upbeat and amusing night out, and with a meal and two intervals, it’s one to savour with a group of friends. Skits and sketches are the name of the game, and some of them will have you laughing your pants off (although we hope not literally!).

The cast of Not Quite Cabaret is experienced and the venue makes for a chilled out vibe. The last season was a sell-out, so you’d be advised to get in quick with this one.
