NEW YEARS EVE: HOLLYWOOD BABYLON

If celebrating the forward march of time by, well, celebrating the past, sounds like your kind of cocktail, then head to Hollywood Babylon at The Vanguard this New Year’s Eve. Promising to relive the heyday of the silver screen – think Clark Gable, Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich and Fred Astaire – it’s appropriate that this venue looks pretty much like a 1920s movie set, complete with luxe trimmings and ruby red hues. On this night the ever popular (especially with the ladies) Snowdroppers, Mojo Juju & The Snake Oil Merchants will be supplying the soundtrack.
