Midnight curfew for Darlinghurst nightclub
DCM on Oxford Street has lost its late night license and must now close at midnight, even on weekends.
The Land & Environment Court chose not renew a trial 24-hour trading approval because of ongoing noise complaints and concerns over the lack of security at the renowned late night venue.
City of Sydney chief executive Garry Harding said the club was being made an example of in order to send a message to other club operators who fail to comply with council regulations.
