Mediterranean flavours and rhythms hit UTS

Next Friday University of Technology’s Glasshouse will celebrate all that is Mediterranean as it hosts its first ever Mediterranean Nights festival.

The event, which is organised by the UTS Mediterranean Society, will showcase food and music from Spain, Italy, Turkey, Greece and Egypt

The event will feature Italian singer Nadia Piave, who will be followed by Sydney Greek Dancers.

Popular Sydney based Arabic singer Alex Yazbeck will also be performing along with and DJ Patrick Yazz, and belly dancer Tanya Hanan.

Mediterranean Nights will be held at the UTS Glasshouse in Broadway on April 9th, with a packed program starting from 7pm and ending 1am. Tickets will be sold at the UTS Union desk on Level 3 in the Tower building for $20. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the night.
