Man allegedly stabs wife to death in Mascot apartment

A fatal stabbing has occurred in Mascot as Anthony Eriksen, 61, has allegedly stabbed his partner of 13 years to death on Easter Sunday in the couple’s apartment.

59-year-old Lisa Fenwick was found in her 10th floor apartment on Church Avenue in Mascot in Sydney’s South with multiple stab wounds to the chest. The incident occurred on Easter Sunday and the NSW police was contacted at 6:10pm to respond to a domestic-related incident as reported by the neighbours.

NSW Ambulance appeared at the scene shortly after the incident, but were unable to save the victim. Eriksen was taken to the Mascot Police Station where he was charged with murder.

Man refused bail, charged with murder

According to NSW Police, Eriksen was refused bail and appeared at Paramatta Bail Court. He is again scheduled to appear before the court April 20th.

In his LinkedIn profile, Eriksen claims to have worked for the NSW Government as a Senior Procurement Analyst, for Deloitte as a management consultant, for Woolworths as a Business Development Manager and was currently self-employed as a Food Educator.

Neighbours and friends have remembered victim Lisa Fenwick as “sweet” and “funny”.
