The Sydney Spiegeltent has become the city’s preeminent cabaret venue, and there is no better show to justify that claim than Lola’s Piano Bar. This popular night time soirée is in its return season, heeding cries of “encore” from the public.
Hosted by one of this country’s most talented, versatile, and outrageous artists, Brendan Maclean, Lola’s Piano Bar is an old-fashioned style song night featuring a guest performer at each show.
This season is nearing its end, but it will be back again in May. In the meantime, you can still catch three incredible performers before the season concludes.
On Thursday night, see Ru Paul’s Drag Race Down Under alumni, the exotic, erotic Hollywood Star. Truly a supernova, this queen will dazzle and likely frazzle you. Make a wish, Hollywood Star will make it come true.
On Friday night, be lulled and electrified in equal measure by the stunning Billie Palin. This young chanteuse is already a veteran of the cabaret scene, and has established herself as a marquee name in musical theatre.
The season finale features powerhouse r’n’b/soul/rock/everything diva, Prinnie Stevens. Stevens has a voice that will fill every corner of the spiegeltent and every space in every heart.
