The Basics: The side project of the well known Gotye along with band mates Kris Schroeder and Tim Heath formed in 2002 and has quickly gained a reputation as one of Australia’s hardest working bands. Well known for their sense of humour and energy during live shows, their sound has been described as everything from indie-pop to rock-and-roll as they span a wide range of genres including reggae, ska and electro-pop. They have just released their newest EP The Lucky Country and are set to show it off over the upcoming tour shows.
