LETTER: RIP TREVOR DAVIES

LETTER: RIP TREVOR DAVIES

Trevor Davies’ death represents the death of some part of us all (City News, June 16). He will always be remembered for his passion for people and for fighting for the underdog. I vividly recall him walking door-to-door, hand-delivering early broadsheet copies of the South Sydney Herald telling me, “Maaate, you have to read this!”, which I did, avidly.

His inchoate humanity shows us that it’s not the years in your life that count as much as the life in your years.

RIP.
