KUTCHA- BLAK & BLU

Kutcha Edwards’ sound is fresh and contemporary but his lyrics speak to struggles that are all too familiar. Blak & Blu explores these struggles, how they are overcome and leaves the listener hopeful for a better future. Roll with the Rhythm exhibits Kutcha’s beautiful and wholesomely bluesy vocals, and it’s with sonorous precision that he takes on the Sam Cooke classic, A Change is Gonna Come. This, his third solo album, effortlessly combines piano ballads with more upbeat tunes steeped in a story-telling, roots tradition. Add to the mix a few brass instruments and you have yourself Kutcha’s new album, oozing with soul.
