FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS
It sounds like a tired cliché, two friends embark on a no strings attached relationship and then drama ensues, and it is. Friends With Benefits starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, attempts to poke fun at the predictability of the romantic comedy genre but remains very predictable. That said it does provide some funny moments. The highlight of the movie is the chemistry that Kunis and Timberlake share. Kunis shines on screen, showing that the once sitcom star now has the power to lead a movie. Timberlake holds his own. His character’s habit for breaking into song however a constant reminder of where his talents are best suited. Overall, the film has its moments but doesn’t quite hit the mark. (FM) ***
