EXHIBITION: PRIMAVERA
The MCA has gathered a fantastic cross section of new work from young Australian artists in Primavera this year. The works are focused around what Australian artists do best, interdisciplinary art, artworks involving sculpture, installation, video, and performance and they are thrilling. Even if you are not one for modern installation, this exhibition has some beautiful spectacles, such as a complex rain machine on which light is projected, an updated digital pianola, as well as a fun performance works involving cream pies. Don’t miss the performances of Pie by spat+loogie on Saturdays from 2–4pm, or the temporary snow storm to be created in the front lawn on the 14th of November.
