DENDY NEWTOWN PRESENTS CULT CLASSICS 2013

Sharks, horse heads and inappropriate ear lopping are some of the highlights of Dendy’s 2013 Cult Classics Series. The season features a tonne of the cinema’s best-known moments which are firmly seared into the collective unconscious; ET phoning home, Indiana Jones running from that rolling boulder and John Travolta’s peculiar, mesmerising twist.

This autumn, the Dendy Newtown is playing host to all of these old favourites as well as Natural Born Killers, Jaws, Taxi Driver and many more. From March to May on a Monday night, film aficionados will get the opportunity to experience these unforgettable films as they were meant to be seen, up close, in stereo and on the big screen. It promises to be a fascinating, if somewhat bloody, revival. (LR)
