DAPHNI – JIAOLONG

You may know Dan Snaith by the moniker of Caribou (multi-instrumentalist wunderkind), well he also make dance music under the name Daphni. But it’s far from the four four house or dull techno that is all the rage. This albums sets out to find that moment sometimes captured on a dance floor where everything lines up – where the universe finally makes sense and all the people around you are ok. It is hard to express this in words… and it seems generally too hard o express it in music, but Daphni has done it – and toy don’t have to be on the dance floor to enjoy it. (TR)
