Council grants deadline approaches

Those wanting financial help for a pet project from the City have until 6pm on April 21 to get their grant applications in.
City of Sydney Council is making amounts of $5000 and $10,000 available to community groups, businesses, and individuals.
There are categories for community services, cultural activities, business support, heritage and conservation.
In the past money has gone to programs for the frail and aged, environmental programs, improvement of retail areas, and music for youth.
Programs must be implemented between October 1 and September 30 to qualify.
