Clovelly’s dream run continues

Local rugby team the Clovelly Blowflies enjoyed another sweet victory in Burrows Park on July 19.

The Blowflies won their game against Bankstown 32-8 scoring some amazing tries.

Hugh Coguston and Charly Grimson scored two tries with Dean Couttes and Dan Haus scoring one try each. The team gained a bonus competition point for getting four tries.

Coach Ewan Wylie was far more satisfied with the performance in this game than that of two months ago when they played against Burraneer.
‘I think this time we had a good display of running rugby, discipline and we stuck to the game plan,’ he said.

There are only three more games for the Blowflies to make the finals. The Meldrum cup seems closer than ever. Good luck, guys!
