You’ve probably sung along with Julie Andrews and the von Trapp children over and over as they frolicked in the Austrian countryside in their recycled drapes, or seen Robert Shaw eaten alive by a rather large shark for the umpteenth time, but when’s the last time, if at all, you saw these films on the big screen? Sydney’s most iconic cinema, The Hayden Orpheum, is showing some of the most spectacular films of the 20th century looking better than ever in a season of digitally remastered movie classics. “There’s still the nostalgia to come and see them on the massive screen,” says Paul Dravet, Hayden Orpheum General Manager. With Spielberg blockbusters to the classic musicals, there is something for everyone.
