Christmas Spectacular Is A Joyous, Mesmerising Show For The Whole Family

Christmas is that magical time of year when the entire family comes together and attending this Christmas Spectacular is the most joyous way to celebrate the festive period.

Described as a Christmas extravaganza of music, circus, dance and magic there’s a lot of entertainment packed in this 90-minute show.

“Christmas Spectacular is a celebration of Christmas for the whole family, with singing, dancing, magic, aerialists and even the big man Santa himself. My role is the songstress of the night. I get to sing all my favourite carols and much, much, more!” enthused special guest Prinnie Stevens, who is excited to be a part of this show.

Stevens rose to fame when she appeared on the first season of The Voice, making it through as a finalist. She described the experience as a dream come true.

“It definitely was an absolute dream, and to think we had no idea how Australia was going to react to this new format of four chairs turning for these artists. The power had been exchanged over to the artist where we got to pick our coach, which was a totally new concept”.

The general consensus amongst adults is that as we grow older, ‘that Christmas feeling’ diminishes. When Stevens was asked whether this Christmas Spectacular keeps that very special Christmas spirit alive, she was quick to respond.

“From the moment you walk in the door, you will be engulfed in the Christmas spectacular. Our dancers are heavily influenced by the New York Rockettes, so there is a real New York feel. That exciting bubbly feeling of Christmas is obvious in the venue and Santa is on his way!”

Stevens will be taking audiences on a musical journey, singing all the classic Christmas carols and favourites from American singer Mariah Carey.

Master magician and Illusionist Michael Boyd also takes to the stage and will be performing his magic tricks and mesmerising illusions that should have the whole family asking,” How did he do that? – it’s got to be magic!”

Stevens agrees that Christmas is a very special time of the year.

“It’s when families get together in a world that is non-stop and are grateful for the year that has been. Christmas is all about family, and family is everything to me. It’s the time we get to re-evaluate the year, spend special time with our family and make memories forever.”
