Christmas By the Sea: Coogee Carols
If you can’t make it for the annual Carols in the Domain, or want something a little more lowkey, then we suggest you make your way to Coogee Carols.
Taking place at Goldstein Reserve, this intimate night of family, community and song will be right in view of Coogee’s iconic beach, offering a unique setting and take on a typical ‘carols in the park’ event. The event is also finally returning after a two-year break and will be looking to put the last few difficult years behind it through some much needed Christmas Spirit.
Entering its twenty-second year, this year’s event features solos from local legends such as musical theatre actress Sarah Murr, who is currently touring with hit stage production &Juliet and soloists including the likes of six-time Golden Guitar winner Amber Lawrence.
If that’s not enough to draw you, the event is also being hosted by ABC presenter, writer and comedian Alex Lee and Play School mainstay. Rumour has it Santa will also be making the trip from the Domain Gardens to pay a visit as well!
If you are local, then transport options are aplenty, including plenty of bus routes from the city. If you are looking to drive, please be advised that there will be several road closures in the area to accommodate safe entry and exit for event spectators.
A family friendly evening, this is great local event for people living in the City of Randwick and surrounding areas.
