Champion effort
Three Sydney CBD small businesses were named winners at the 2009 NSW/ACT Small Business Champion Awards on October 17, with John Azzi Hairdressers, Ergoworks and Australia 2 See all receiving recognition for their achievements.
“The Small Business Champion Awards is a celebration of small business and its contribution to the Australian way of life,” said Steve Loe, Managing Director of Precedent Productions, which created and present the awards. “When the Champion Judges evaluate a submission, they are looking at all aspects of a winning business; strategies, customer service, vision, support of the local community and growth, just to name a few. There are many small business owners who will never be millionaires, but whose contribution is invaluable.”
The NSW and ACT winners will now represent their categories at a national level, at the Australian Small Business Champion Awards in Sydney on November 14.
