CELEBRATING WOMEN IN PHOTOGRAPHY
“We are seeing an increasing number of women enter the profession and these images are testament to the outstanding work by female photographers in this country,” says the Vice President of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, Kylie Lyons. The AIPP are responsible for bringing a who’s-who of lady snappers together at Art Est as part of the 2011 Head On festival, and judging from the rich diversity of work on display, it’s definitely past time they got a look-in.
