Cab Sav is a “very entertaining” variety night held monthly in the back room of Liverpool Street’s Goodgod Small Club, Chinatown.  You can expect to see performances that make you wish you chose drama as an elective in high school or at least kept at it. You’ll also witness stand up that’s actually funny, maybe a song, maybe a film (or if you’re really lucky a PowerPoint presentation), maybe a dance and maybe you’ll be read a story. It costs about $10, which is cheaper than a trip to the cinema and most fulfilling amateur comedy nights – totally worth your bucks. (Del Lumanta)
