After you squeeze into a gap on the communal table, you’ll have to decide between ethereally light (but oh-so-rich) scrambled eggs and his amazing ricotta hotcakes with banana and honeycomb butter! News flash – the place is more than just a breakfast institution; night time brings very competent, classic modern Australian cooking to the table. So step away from the corn fritter.
