First of all, it’s actually a window. For the first-timer drawn by word of mouth to Johnny’s wicked brew this can pose a quandary. How to adapt to this new café experience? In only a short time Johnny’s Window has attracted a loyal local crowd who will show you how. There are the easily recognisable ‘perchers’ who, in a reverse two-hand grip, will secure their position on the counter; then, the ‘settlers’ who will pull up a few stools and shoot hearty dialogue to the man at the espresso machine.
