BERNIE

Bernie Tiede (Jack Black) is a unique character, loved by all in the Texas town of Carthage. Esteemed funeral director and community leader, no-one suspects his motives when he befriends wealthy but generally despised widow Marjorie Nugent (Shirley MacLaine). After all, he is now in a position to give even more to the community. But what affect will Marjorie’s short temper and possessiveness have on the gregarious Bernie? This true story includes narration from actual townspeople of Carthage.
