Following record-breaking events in Brisbane and Melbourne, the Affordable Art Fair returns to Sydney for its fifth (and biggest) edition yet. From 5 to 8 November at Sydney’s Carriageworks, more than 75 Australian galleries will showcase thousands of original works priced from $100 to $10,000 – all available to purchase and take home on the day.

Alongside an exciting mix of paintings, drawings, sculptures and textiles, visitors can immerse themselves in an exciting program of live painting, interactive installations, and family-friendly experiences.

It comes after an unprecedented 2025 edition, which welcomed more than 18,000 visitors and generated AU$5.5 million in sales.

The Affordable Art Fair’s Biggest Event Yet

Australian Fair Director Georgia Huestis said the 2026 Fair will build on Sydney’s growing appetite for original contemporary art as it returns for its second year at Carriageworks.

“Sydney has really embraced Affordable Art Fair,” said Huestis, “and after such a strong response last year, we’re excited to come back with our biggest Fair yet. There’s a fantastic energy around art in Sydney right now, and we’re bringing together an even broader mix of galleries and artists to give visitors the chance to discover something new, unexpected and completely their own.

“For us, it’s about creating an environment where art feels approachable and enjoyable – whether you’re looking to add to your collection, on the hunt for something special for your home, or simply want to spend a few hours surrounded by creativity. This year’s program adds another layer to that experience, with sculptures, live artmaking, hands-on activities for kids and plenty of opportunities to meet the people behind the artwork.”

Program Highlights

Some of the program highlights include a ‘Spotlight on Sculpture’ featuring works by Southern Highlands artist Thomas Bucich (Becker Minty), showcasing striking large-scale sculptural works; ‘Artists in Action’ live art-making demonstrations, and crowd favourite Jackie Case’s Art ATM, which will return to offer its signature blend of art, surprise and delight.

Tickets to the Affordable Art Fair Sydney, which runs from Thursday 5 November to Sunday 8 November 2026 at Carriageworks, are available now
