ADVENTURE FILM FESTIVAL
For most cinephiles, you can’t get much better than an adventure you can enjoy from the comfort of your seat (and minus all threats of sunburn, theft and avian flu). The Adventure Film Festival gathers over 30 new films that range from ‘Activism through Adventure’ to ‘Extreme Sport,’ with this year’s effort including grizzly bears, a mouse-eating Rainbow trout, a skateboard tour of Kabul and more kayaking than you can poke an oar at. Show up at the Bondi Pavilion from 6.30-10.30 either Thursday 22nd or Friday 23rd and get set to soak up the adrenalin (and booze, if you stick around for the post-show party). (AB)
