A Theatrical Performance of Alice in Wonderland

Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale, Alice in Wonderland, is coming to the Sydney Coliseum Theatre this summer. The internationally acclaimed performance adapted and directed by Penny Farrow, has recently announced two extra shows for the season. This creates extra opportunities for audiences to join Alice on her magical journey.

The on-stage Alice in Wonderland features a range of breathtaking costumes and puppetry, shaping a limitless imagination for viewers. The tale’s recognisable and much loved characters including the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, and the Queen of Hearts are represented brilliantly by the talented cast members.

The co-producer of the show, Bonnie Lythgoe, is delighted to be involved with this fabulous production. As stated by Lythgoe, “the wonderful show delivers a huge dose of heartfelt and imaginative family value entertainment blended with high production values”.

The stage adaptation remains true to the original story book, with plenty of wordplay and pun-based humour incorporated into the show. This ensures that the older kids and adults are entertained, while the younger kids are mesmerised by the colourful characters that are brought to life in front of them.
This captivating performance is suitable for anyone seeking a spark of magic over the holidays.
