KINGS CROSS PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE
Character of the Cross – it’s certainly not a stretch to call to mind a few of those. And if you’re handy with a lens you could even be the running to win a prize for capturing one of them. This year’s Kings Cross Photography Prize is calling for entries for their second ever competition of stills drawing from the streets of 2011. Whether you choose to focus on a captivating individual or the charm of the hilltop hamlet itself, your photo could be in the running to not only win a prize but be exhibited along with other entries at the Mercure Hotel from Oct 5-23. This year’s exhibition will be curated by local photographer and curator Sandy Edwards, of Stills Gallery and Arthere.
