Over a dozen artists are taking over Marrickville’s Factory Theatre with community-centred party Places & Spaces, bringing live music, DJs, and a riot of a good time.

Presented by Planet Trip Records and Club 77, the party featuring 19 performances across three different stages. The event follows the success of the Planet Trip Records and Club 77 collaboration, Keys to the City, held earlier in November. The two have put together a programme featuring a range of sounds for different communities. Moreover, the open-air space is designed to allow festival attendees to move freely between sounds and settings throughout the event.

“The programming represents what both Planet Trip and Club 77 are all about; diversity, inclusivity and forward-thinking live and electronic dance music,” said Dane Gorrel of Club 77.

Factory Theatre stage lineup

The Factory Theatre Stage will feature a range of diverse music, including electronic, indie, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, and more. Headliners include Arnhem Land’s Drifting Clouds, Nai Palm, Ella Haber, and Setwun & The Soulstranauts. They’ll be joined by Vv Pete, Weight On My Shoulders, and a rotating list of DJs, including Kenfo and Jun Wan.

Club Room stage

Altura has put together a blend of Latin beats and global club sounds for the Club Room Stage. Attendees can expect to hear from Brina b2b Celinita, Carolina Gasolina, Dan+ee b2b Fabz, and Louli, who are among the DJs scheduled to appear.

Courtyard stage

Outdoors, guests can head out to the Courtyard Stage, where the focus is on house music, led by Jamie 3:26 from Chicago, supported by a lineup including notable Eora’s artists such as Gemma, the founder of Club Kooky; Jonny Seymour, one-half of the Stereogamous duo; and Kato b2b Au4r33y, from Club 77.

“Collaborating with Planet Trip on Places & Spaces is the second outing outside of our basement dungeon that is Club 77 and we couldn’t be any happier with the result,” said Gorrel. “There’s so much amazing talent in Australia and our goal is to champion this talent above everything else, whilst providing a safe, inclusive and diverse atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.”

“We have pulled together an amazing lineup of local heads and some very special guests from interstate and overseas across 3 stages. All styles and smiles, indoor and outdoor options, say no more,” said Mike Who of Planet Trip.

Places & Spaces 2025 will be held at The Factory Theatre on Boxing Day, Friday 26 December, from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am. Tickets are on sale now
