311 bus campaign never stops
Elizabeth Bay locals campaigning for the return of the full 311 bus route have printed postcards which they are distributing for people to send to the Premier, Nathan Rees.
“Public transport is vital for residents in this area, many of whom are elderly and have mobility issues; 17.8% of the residents are over the age of 65,” reads the card.
The campaign group will meet the Minister for Transport on 22 June, and Greens MLC Lee Rhiannon this week will attempt to move an emergency motion to restore the original bus route.
