Photographers rally for art access
By Fei Dji
Professional photographer Peter Walton poses during a rally protesting the new state government policy to charge photographers for permits to take pictures on public places or national parks. Identical rallies were held in Sydney and Melbourne attended by over 700 people. The rally was held in Campbells Cove to illustrate the point that the Sydney Opera House is the most photograph icon in the world and pictures of it contribute directly to Australia tourism when taken by either professional or amateur.
