The race for best dressed is on

Ladies, gentlemen and families gather up your best dresses, hats, suits and heels for Fashions on the Field, at Royal Randwick race course on October 4.
The one-time event is sure to steal the show from the track at the Arrowfield Super Stud Saturday spring carnival meet.
At Fashions on the Field there is a category for everyone, including men and children; there will be the best dressed family, best matching couple, best headwear and most colourful race wear.Winners will be announced on the main stage after being selected by a panel of well-known judges.
Pre- registration for each entry is needed prior to the event as many entrants are expected to bid for this year’s title as best dressed.
Royal Randwick’s princess and prince, who will be the faces of the autumn carnival, will also be announced on the day.
The event begins at 10:30 am on the Rose Garden lawn and concludes at 4:30 pm.
With this year’s fashion being diverse in styles, the judges will be looking for what makes the entrants stand out from the rest.
Prizes include vouchers, a television and jewellery.
