The Growlers – Chinese Fountain

Everything sounds better when it’s sung. The serious juxtaposed against the playful makes Chinese Fountain curiously pleasing to the ear. The Growlers’ unique combination of wit and resignation runs alongside the lighthearted continuation weaving through the music.

Illumination and a tone of acceptance skip through many topics like a fast-paced lesson delivered by a lackluster teacher with fairy wings and a tambourine; alerting the listener to the evils of the world with a sad smile.
