First it was the weasel, now it is the The Black Keys that go pop! Taking their blues roots and giving them a serious soul going over, along with top notch production from Danger Mouse (his best work to date), The Black Keys have made El Camino an album with broad appeal. Big fuzz guitars on Gold on the Ceiling, the Motown chorus’ on Stop Stop, the glam stomp of Run Right Back, and through out quality songwriting. There is even more than a touch of the acoustic Led Zep on Little Black – everything bar the bustling hedgerow. This is a feel good party album set to dominate summer (when it arrives!)
