Easter Long Weekend events to check out in Sydney

With the Easter Holidays fast approaching, Sydney is hosting a range of activities for friends and families to participate in over the long weekend. From tea parties to a walk through Sydney’s iconic Centennial Park, there is truly something happening for everyone in Sydney this Easter.
Easter in Nature at Centennial Parklands
Families are invited to celebrate Australia’s native plants and animals over the Easter long weekend at Centennial Park. During the one-hour long program, children will be introduced to native flora and fauna and explore the park with Centennial Parklands educational team. The event will be filled with nature-based games and activities, including an Easter egg hunt, storytelling, art projects and an Easter egg hunt for children and their parents to enjoy and connect with the environment.
The event will take place at various session times on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th April at the Wild Play Discovery Centre.

Yeah Buoy! Easter Long Weekend Boat Party
Celebrate the long weekend on a three level Sydney Harbour Cruise. Leaving from King Street Wharf in Darling Harbour, enjoy four hours of DJs, house and disco tunes, dancefloors and open-air rooftops. This is an exciting opportunity for partygoers to dance and socialise with views of the harbour and evening sunset. The event will take place on Easter Saturday 8th April from 3:30pm-7:30pm.

Sydney Family Easter Show
Head down to Moore Park over the long weekend to celebrate traditional Easter show activities. Join in on family friendly entertainment, including a bunny hopping competition, animal nursery, carnival rides and classic Easter show bags. The Sydney Family Easter Show starts on Thursday 6th April and finishes on Sunday 23rd April.

Sutra Sunrise Bridge Hotel
Sutra Sunrise will be hosting an Easter event at the Bridge Hotel in Rozelle. Join this popular ceremony to worship the sunrise through movement and dance. This event is an entertaining chance to connect with the spiritual world and the surrounding community, and will run from 9:00pm on Saturday 8th April to 1pm on Sunday 9th April.

Mad Hatters High Tea
On Easter Sunday the Stamford Hotel will be hosting a Wonderland themed high tea buffet. Enjoy sweets and treats with an unlimited selection of tea and coffee in celebration of the Easter holidays. The all ages event will take place on the 9th April from 11:30am-2:30pm.
