A meal at Rumilicious begins with the eyes and nose: the presentation is exquisite, the aromas are appetisers in themselves. The current chef has been working magic in the Rumilicious kitchen for eight years now, and, going by review comments, has created hundreds of satisfied customers.
You can order your own dish, but the best and most traditional way to eat this cuisine is on shared plates with good wine and great company. This is also a terrific way to sample a broad range of dishes from the menu. Rumilicious caters to most dietary needs, providing vegan, gluten-free, nut-free and dairy-free options.
Their signature freshly made falafel is a must try, as is the sugar-free baclava made on the premises and served with love. Come in for a delicious breakfast, one of the daily lunch specials or an incredible dinner. The restuarant often hosts special events such as their popular wine-matching dinners. They can also provide a speedy meal if you let them know you’re going to a show at the Sydney Lyric or another event nearby. In fact, you may even see cast or crew from a Lyric production eating at Rumilicious after a show.
Forget Happy Hour, how about Happy 5 Hours? You can enjoy selected wines and beers for $7 from 12pm to 5pm daily. Keep an ear out for live music evening events to be introduced soon.
Rumilicious also offers catering with an incredible menu to choose from. Or, make it extra special and hold your event at the restaurant. It can accommodate 150 people,and with its spectacular view and a beautiful historic promenade, it will add something more to the occasion.
