REPTILE YOUTH – REPTILE YOUTH

Their official record label biography describes Reptile Youth as the bastard sons of psychedelic 60s Soul, Post Punk and Synth-Pop, stirred into a look-book-approved vodka cocktail of sweaty, high-energy post-modern pop. The group from Denmark have an image that is so painfully underground it’s intense. Sounding like a Scandinavian Hot Chip, the catchy tunes on their self-titled album have witty names like Shooting Up Sunshine and Be My Yoko Ono. The energy levels on the album are sky-high and the vocals super-cool. They are so terribly hip it is worth a listen before the mainstream calls.
